About Us

Mulhuddart Community Centre is owned by Fingal County Council, was built in 2001 and was funded by the Young Peoples Facilities Services Fund and with the support of Fingal County Council Community Office and Architects Department who oversaw the design and completion of the project. the centre is managed on behalf of Fingal County Council by a local board of directors.

 In 2002 Mulhuddart Community Centre Ltd was formed by a group of local residents and local agencies and stakeholders. Over the past number of years, the directors of the company have overseen the day to day operation of the facility by a team of staff funded by Pobal under the Community Services Program with support from participants from local Community Employment Schemes  Over the years with significant redevelopment and investment Mulhuddart Community Centre has achieved its primary objective which is to “meet the ever-changing needs of the community.”  Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for groups and members of the community to participate in cultural, leisure, educational, sporting and recreational activities.      

 

 

The Mulhuddart Community Centre Has:

  • A café called ‘Roundabout Café’
  • A crèche called ‘Kidz Zone’ that caters for 12 children per session. There are 2 sessions per day
  • Mulhuddart Community Youth Project which is operated by Foróige for training, educational and recreational activities. It currently caters for 300 young people.
  • Room, Hall and Sports area for hire
